VOTING
💵
What Does “$1 = 1 Vote” Mean?
In this system, every dollar donated or contributed counts as one vote for a contestant. It’s a way for friends, family, and community supporters to help their favorite contestant earn additional recognition—usually for a People’s Choice Award or similar special title.
✅
How It Works:
-
Anyone can vote by donating money (online or in person).
-
For every $1 given, the contestant receives 1 vote.
-
Example: $10 = 10 votes, $25 = 25 votes
-
-
-
Voting is often open before and during the pageant, depending on the rules.
-
The contestant with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award or designated title.
🎉
Why Use This System?
-
It gives the audience and community a chance to get involved.
-
It raises money to help support the event (venue, prizes, scholarships, etc.).
-
It teaches contestants about community support and involvement.
❤️ Important Note:
This category is optional and doesn’t affect the contestant’s score in judged categories like talent or formal wear. It’s a fun, supportive way to celebrate participation and community spirit.
